This Privacy Policy applies to Lynn Johnston Productions Inc. By USING THE SITE AND/OR SERVICE OR clicking “I AGREE” or similar confirmation you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy as Applicable in your jurisdiction.

1. HOW WE OBTAIN YOUR INFORMATION

We collect and process very little ‘personal information’ from our users, including you, which is information about you or that identifies you, as well as anonymous information, which does not identify you.

We obtain the limited personal information that we collect from you either directly from you or when you use the Service. In certain circumstances, use of the Service may require and/or allow you to submit personal information in order to enter contests, make purchases, submit Feedback (as defined below), submit customer service requests, engage with user-generated content or create an account through the Site and/or third-party providers, including but not limited to Shopify and Google (each, an “Account”). In general, LJP does not have access to Account information you provide to third parties except to allow access to the Services through such third-party Accounts. Your provision of personal information to LJP is governed by any terms of use we choose to apply, including third-party license agreements and terms of use (collectively, the “Terms”), which, along with this Privacy Policy and other applicable polices posted on the Site, you must agree to in order to use the Service. If you have any questions or concerns about the disclosure of your personal information, please contact us at your convenience using the contact information found below.

Subject to legal, contractual and technical requirements, you may choose not to provide LJP with certain information or request the deletion of certain information, which may impact the Service features available to you or essential operations of the Service.

• feedback and comments you share through surveys, ratings, comments, emails, social media and other forms of communication whether digital or physical (“Feedback”);

• your full name and/or email address, only if you choose to provide them when communicating with us, accessing features of the Site, providing Feedback, creating an Account, engaging with user-generated content functionality or entering a contest;

We also collect anonymous information that does not identify you, including but not limited to responses to anonymous feedback requests, metrics and other types of statistical information, which could be derived from use of the Service and analytical information concerning the Service. This anonymous information collection is not combined with personal information at any time and thus has no chance of identifying you at all.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Privacy Policy only applies to personal information that LJP collects, processes and discloses and does not apply to the collection, processing and disclosure of information by third parties, through third-party services, which may be broader than set forth in this Privacy Policy, and that may be embedded into the Service.

In many cases, third-parties may collect personal information about a user’s online activities over time and across different websites and services. We strongly recommend that you read each third-party privacy policy carefully before using the Service. LJP may provide information to third-parties, including but not limited to: Google, supportsystem.com, Universal Uclick, Shopify and Andrews McMeel Syndication. Please contact us directly using the information found below if you would like to learn more about third-party information practices.

The Service may use tracking technologies, including but not limited to cookies, web beacons, java beacons and clear GIFs, to collect information about you, including but not limited to your IP address and device information. This information is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and the applicable third-party privacy policies. You hereby consent to LJP’s use of the above tracking technologies. You may choose to accept, reject or delete the above tracking technologies or have notifications when tracking technologies are set by configuring your web browser or device.

If you are accessing the Site on a device with location detection functionality enabled, we may collect precise information about the location of your device during the use of the Site. To cease providing such information, you may toggle your location settings on your respective device.

6. OBTAINING, RECTIFYING AND CONTROLLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You may contact LJP to obtain a copy of any personal information we have collected about you, the production of which may be subject to a fee as permitted by applicable law. In addition, you may contact LJP to correct inaccurate personal information or to complete incomplete personal information.

You may be able to opt-out of some or all of the ways in which your personal information is processed, or request the deletion of certain personal information, except where the personal information is necessary or vital:

• for the performance of LJP’s contractual obligations, such as the Terms;

• to comply with our legal obligations;

• to protect your interests or those of another person; and

• for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third-party,

and may do so by removing personal information, if the Service permits such removal, by deleting your Account or by contacting us using the contact information found below.

7. INFORMATION STORAGE, RETENTION AND TRANSFERS

While LJP is a Canadian company, the information you provide through the Service may be stored and processed by third parties in countries around the world. You authorize LJP and third parties acting on our behalf to process your information in any country of their choosing, which may cause your information, including personal and anonymous information, to be subject to privacy protections and legal rights that may not be equivalent to those in your country.

Your personal information is retained until you request its deletion or until LJP no longer requires such information for the purpose for which it was collected or until required to be deleted by laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

8. CHILDREN

The Site is aimed at a general audience and not directed to children under the age of 13. LJP complies with the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and all other applicable laws and regulations concerning children and the Internet. We may ask prospective users to provide their age during the registration process for Accounts and on other areas of the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without first obtaining verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without first obtaining verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible except where LJP may retain and use such limited information for a limited period of time where LJP believes that the collection and use is permitted or required under COPPA. If you are a parent or guardian of a child who you believe provided LJP with personal information without your consent, please contact us at info@alottabotz.com.

We believe that parents and guardians should supervise their children's online activities and consider using parental control tools available from online services and software manufacturers that help provide a kid-friendly online environment. These tools can help prevent children from otherwise disclosing online their name, address and other personal information without a parent or guardian’s permission.

9. DO NOT TRACK DISCLOSURE

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a web or device setting that allows users to request that receivers of personal information stop their tracking activities. When you choose to turn on the DNT setting in your browser or device or use alternative consumer choice mechanisms, your browser or device sends a special signal to websites, analytics companies, advertising networks, plug in providers and other web services you encounter to stop tracking your activity. Currently, there are no DNT technology standards and it is possible that there may never be any DNT technology standards. As a result, we do not respond to DNT requests.

10. CALIFORNIA USERS AND “SHINE THE LIGHT” RIGHT

LJP does not sell any of your personal information to third parties.

If you are a California resident, California Civil Code 1798.83 grants you the right to request our disclosure of the categories of personal information we provided to third parties, and the names and addresses of these third parties, for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make this request, please contact us using the contact information set forth below. Please note that you may only make this request once per year.

11. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP OR BUSINESS TRANSITION

In the event of, or in preparation for, a change of ownership or control of LJP or a business transition such as the sale of LJP or the sale of some or all LJP’s assets, we may disclose and/or transfer your personal and anonymous information to third-parties who will have the right to continue to collect and use such information in the manner set forth in this Privacy Policy.

12. SECURITY

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To attempt to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or breach, we have put in place commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect and process. However, such security measures are not to be considered a guarantee or warranty by LJP that all information collected via the Site and Services is completely and utterly protected from unauthorized use, interception, disclosure or access of a third-party.

13. CONTACT PREFERENCES

We communicate with our users primarily through the Service itself, but we may sometimes collect the email address of some of our users in order to respond to support requests, contest entries, Feedback or comments. If you have provided us with your email address and would like to change the email preferences we associate with you (for example, unsubscribing from receiving certain types of email) you may do so by clicking a link within certain types of emails that we send to you or, if no link is available, by replying with “unsubscribe” in the email title or body or by modifying your email settings within the Service. On rare occasions, some types of email are necessary for the Service and cannot be unsubscribed from if you continue to use the Service.

A user may elect to refer a friend to our Site and/or Service using their name and email address. LJP will automatically send a one-time email to the referred individual upon such request, with contact information stored for the sole purpose of sending this one-time initial email. The referred individual may contact us to request the removal of their contact information from our retention.
